Do you host events other than weddings?

Yes! We also host baby and bridal showers, birthday parties, reunions, graduation celebrations, proms, and more.

Is there a place to get ready on-site?

Yes! We offer a comfortable Groom’s Suite located right inside The Barn, perfect for getting ready, relaxing, and sharing those pre-ceremony moments. Brides typically get ready at our on-site mountaintop Airbnb, Highland Haven, which offers a private, scenic space just above the venue — ideal for hair, makeup, and stunning getting-ready photos.

Is there on-site parking available?

Yes, there is on-site parking available for guests. To make arrival easy and comfortable, we provide a transport vehicle from the parking area to The Barn, ensuring everyone gets to the venue safely and without hassle.

Are we allowed to bring our own vendors?

Yes, vendors are required for your event, and you're welcome to choose your own. We’re happy to provide a list of vendors we’ve previously worked with upon request, or answer any questions about a vendor you may be considering. We’re always open to discovering new talent and love adding trusted professionals to our preferred vendor list. Please contact us for more details!

What’s your weather contingency plan?

Your event will go on rain or shine — and the property is truly gorgeous in any weather. Whether it’s golden sunshine or a romantic mist over the mountains, The Barn and surrounding grounds offer a beautiful backdrop year-round. For peace of mind, we’re happy to discuss inclement weather backup plans and layout options with you. Just reach out, and we’ll help you plan for every possibility!

Can we book the Airbnb for the wedding weekend?

Yes — and we highly encourage you to do so! Our on-site Airbnb, Highland Haven, offers a cozy and convenient stay just above the barn. With breathtaking five-state views, it’s perfect for getting ready, relaxing, and soaking in the full wedding weekend experience.

Are pets allowed at the venue?

At this time, the only animals allowed on the farm and at Highland Haven are the animals that live here — including our beloved Highland cows. If you have questions about a special circumstance or specific request, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.

Do you allow alcohol on-site?

Yes, alcohol is permitted on the premises and must be provided by the event holder. Bowery Creek will provide bartenders at an additional cost to the client. Proof of insurance policy for event must also be submitted to Bowery Creek prior to the event. For full details or questions regarding alcohol service, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.


What time does the event need to end?

All events must conclude by 10 PM in compliance with local ordinances. If you’re interested in hosting an after-party by the fire pit, please contact us to discuss available add-on options and make arrangements.

Can we have our ceremony and reception at the barn?

Yes! You can choose from several designated ceremony locations on the property — we’d love to show you around during a tour to help find the perfect spot. The reception can be hosted inside the barn, offering a warm and charming space to celebrate. Please contact us for more details or to schedule a visit!

Are there restrooms on-site?

Yes, The Barn features ADA-compliant permanent restrooms for your convenience and accessibility.

How far in advance should we book?

Booking timelines can vary, especially during peak wedding season. Please contact us directly for more information about availability and recommended lead times to secure your preferred date.
